The screw pattern on the masterfully carved legs give the table a sense of durability and beauty. These designs are hand carved and make the Salmonica a piece of artwork along with a wonderful chess table. On the table’s expensive Mahogany Crotch Cut wood veneer also are a series of intricately patterned hand carved accents. This deep rich wood color contrasts very nicely with the light Bird’s Eye Maple squares for an alluring chess board. The Samonica is given another touch of classic flavor with its routed edge.
